Begin your dive on the north side of the island, where you can descend down a beautiful sloping reef and float alongside it. Alternatively, you can move away from the reef and cross the sandy bottom until you reach the seamount. This site is home to an array of marine species, including schools of Surgeonfish, Barracudas, Turtles, Napoleon Wrasse, and smaller critters like Frogfish, Pygmy Seahorse, Scorpionfish, Banded Pipefish, and different Nudibranchs.

Sabolon Besar, located near Sabolan Kecil, is a notable dive spot perfect for beginner and refresh divers, as well as macro enthusiasts. Start your dive by swimming up current from the beach, and follow the sloping reef between 15-25m. You’ll be amazed by the variety of marine life that you’ll encounter, such as Nudibranchs, Flatworms, Crabs, Shrimps, Scorpionfish, Crocodile fish, and more. Don’t forget to check the sandy areas for Stingrays too.

Occasionally, larger marine creatures swim by, so keep an eye on the blue. Overall, Sabolan Besar offers excellent diving opportunities for divers of all skill levels.
