Before confirming your booking, reviewing Komodo Adventure Dive Travel’s Terms & Conditions is required. Please note that confirming your booking automatically means you agree to these conditions.
BOOKING:
Once you confirm your reservation via email or WhatsApp, we will process all bookings within 24 hours. A 30% down payment must be transferred within 48 hours to confirm your booking. Full payment is required 30 days before the scheduled booking. For short-term bookings, you will need to pay in full immediately.
CHANGE OR CANCELLATION OF THE BOOKING BY THE GUEST:
If you wish to modify or cancel your booking, please notify us via email or WhatsApp at your earliest convenience. Please note that depending on the nature of the change, additional costs may apply, such as the inclusion of an additional guest or an extension of the length of stay. In the event of cancellation, please refer to cancellation fees for information on applicable fees.
CANCELLATIONS FEES:
Cancellation fees will be applied as follows:
- Reservation deposits are non-refundable.
- Reservations with a start date between 90-61 days prior will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- Reservations with a start date between 60-31 days prior will incur a 75% cancellation fee.
- Reservations with a start date between 30-0 days prior will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
It is highly advisable to obtain travel cancellation insurance to mitigate the impact of these fees.
FLIGHT DELAY:
In the event of a flight delay that may impact your booking, it’s essential to contact us as soon as possible. While Komodo Adventure Dive Travel cannot be held accountable, we will make every effort to assist and facilitate a resolution. Any additional expenses incurred while making alternative arrangements will be communicated to guests and must be settled promptly. Moreover, it’s advised to arrive at least one day before the start of the booking to avoid any potential complications.
INSURANCE RECOMMENDATIONS:
Komodo Adventure Dive Travel highly recommends acquiring travel cancellation insurance to protect against unforeseen delays or cancellations. Additionally, for bookings that involve scuba diving, it’s advisable to acquire dive insurance to ensure comprehensive coverage.
AGREEMENT TO RELEASE LIABILITY AND ASSUME RISK:
Please sign this agreement before embarking on the trip.
Acknowledging and adhering to conservation protocols.
ITINERARY CHANGE:
If Komodo Adventure Dive Travel deems it necessary to modify an itinerary during a trip, such as due to unforeseeable weather conditions or site closures, participants are not entitled to compensation or refunds of fees previously paid.
PRICE ADJUSTMENT POLICY:
In rare instances, it may be necessary to adjust prices due to external factors, such as an increase in transportation expenses (including fuel costs), an upsurge in state taxes and duties (e.g., embarkation or disembarkation fees, sales taxes, etc.), or fluctuations in currency exchange rates.
FORCE MAJEURE:
Komodo Adventure Dive Travel retains the right to cancel any booking on account of unforeseeable circumstances beyond its control, such as war, civil unrest, terrorism, natural or industrial disasters, government regulations, communication or utility failure, material shortage or rationing, amendments in air carriers’ schedules, or any other unavoidable events. In the event of a cancellation, Komodo Adventure Dive Travel will inform you at the earliest possible date, and either reschedule the booking or provide a full refund of any payment made.
CANCELLATION POLICY BY KOMODO ADVENTURE DIVE TRAVEL:
Komodo Adventure Dive Travel maintains the right to modify the itinerary or specific services in the event of unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances. We will make every attempt to provide comparable alternatives of equal quality and will notify you as soon as possible. If no suitable alternative is available, a refund will be issued of any payment made.
EQUIPMENT RENTAL:
This agreement outlines the terms and conditions for the rental of equipment. The renter acknowledges that they are not allowed to modify the equipment in any way. The equipment is tested before rental, and the renter accepts its working condition. The renter is responsible for understanding all safety warnings, risks, and precautions on the use of the equipment.
The rental agreement releases the renter’s rights to sue for injury or death resulting from the rental and/or use of the equipment. The renter assumes all risks related to snorkeling and/or scuba diving that are associated with the rental and/or use of the equipment. The renter is responsible for the equipment as soon as it leaves the owner, regardless of the mode of transportation or assembly.
The renter must know how to operate and handle the equipment and will be held responsible for any misuse. The owner cannot be held responsible for any bodily injury or material damage caused by the renter’s use of the equipment.
The rented equipment cannot be re-rented, sold, given, or pledged. If there is any confiscation, fine, or other penalties due to non-compliance with the legislation, the renter will be held responsible.
The renter affirms that it is their responsibility to inspect all equipment and acknowledge that it is in good working condition. It is also the renter’s responsibility to check the quality and quantity of gas in any scuba tanks and to not dive if the equipment is not functioning properly. The renter will not hold the Released Parties accountable for their failure to inspect the equipment before diving or if they choose to dive with equipment that is not functioning properly.
The renter agrees to reimburse the owner for the loss or breakage of any equipment at its current replacement value and to pay for damages incurred during transportation. The renter also agrees to return the equipment in a clean condition and to pay a cleaning fee if the equipment is not returned clean.
PAYMENT PROCEDURE:
All rates are stated in Indonesian Rupiah. For payments made in other currencies, the exchange rate of http://www.xe.com on the date of booking would be applied. An invoice for your booking will be sent to you, with bank details or a secured credit card payment link. Transfer fees are to be borne by the sender, and kindly specify your invoice number in the payment details. After payment is received, a balance invoice will be issued to confirm your payment. Cash payments are accepted on-site, subject to the terms agreed upon, and for short-term bookings.
INDEMNIFICATION:
Komodo Adventure Dive Travel and its users (guests) hereby agree to indemnify and hold each other harmless from any claims, demands, legal fees, or accounting fees that may arise due to the use of material on our website, including software, or violation of the terms of this agreement. Additionally, the inaccuracy of information or the quality and availability of products offered by third parties shall not hold either party liable.
AGREEMENT CLAUSE:
In the event of legal action arising from this agreement, it must adhere to the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
